“The strong presence of THE DEAD on the RogueFlix splash page featured alongside top Hollywood action movies is unheralded for an indie film,” stated Strath Hamilton, CEO of TriCoast Worldwide. “Unlike other digital movie websites such as iTunes where independent movies are buried deep below the splash page making them hard to find and watch, RogueFlix evens the playing field making them a very powerful site in Hollywood.”
“At another movie studio, I oversaw the placement of over 20 independent movies onto iTunes and I could never find them unless I typed in the exact names of the movies into the search bar,” stated Larry Rodriguez, co-founder and COO of RogueFlix.
“In addition to movies, we are currently working with strategic partners to develop webshows to be featured exclusively on RogueFlix,” stated Bryan Duran, co-founder and CEO of RogueFlix. “We are also happy to announce the launch of the RogueFlix App for the Amazon Kindle Fire to take advantage of the new tablets being released later this year by Amazon which has a large share of the Android tablet market. The new App is currently available in the Kindle Fire marketplace and will have the seamless purchase abilities users have come to expect from the Apple iPad and iTunes.”
“The majority of the people visiting the site are young males between the ages of 13 and 24. All of the great action movies featured on the site are available instantly for online digital rental or download-to-
“Directors Howard and Jonathan Ford have crafted a powerhouse zombie film of epic proportions in THE DEAD,” stated resident RogueFlix film critic Adam P. Cray.
The film follows Lt. Brian Murphy (Rob Freeman) as his plane crashes in a remote part of the African coast. He befriends African soldier Sgt.
