“This is important training for anyone who wants to take part in the water testing currently being conducted in areas where shale natural gas drilling is taking place,” said Oram. “Anyone planning on collecting water samples in the field should attend this course.”
The class involves approximately 4 hours of classroom instruction as well as hands-on field instruction. Attendees who successfully complete the program will receive the WQA continuing education credits, a Certificate of Completion from Wilkes University and a Certificate of Completion from B.F. Environmental on Proper Chain of Custody. Because of the lack of a certification process, this course will help to ensure that third-party collectors are properly trained.
Seating is limited and reservations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis. The cost for the class is $175 per person. To attend this course, please contact Marianne Metzger at 800-458-3330 x223 or email at email@example.com.
