“The Raw Truth: The Recipe for Reversing Diabetes” was written as a guide for patients as they take on the task of reversing their diabetes. It allows them to see the struggles and sacrifices involved in order to restore health. It also gives them direction so that they can take the necessary steps to live a healthier life. Even though the book is tailored towards people with diabetes, those same steps can be used to reverse other disorders such as hypertension, heart disease, obesity, cancer, and other chronic illnesses.
Kirt Tyson was born on October 17, 1981 in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He later went on to earn his Naturopathic Medical Doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. After completing medical school he obtained additional knowledge from Cornell University and received a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from the T. Collin Campbell Foundation.
