Realtors® Give “Close To Home” Supporting Local Charities

July 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Palm Springs, CA – The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® is excited to announce the 2012 mid-year distributions for “Close To Home,” its community giving program. “’Close To Home’ is a program dedicated to giving back to our neighbors through local non-profit organizations,” says Randy Wiemer, CEO of the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS®. At the mid-year mark, through their quarterly events, the PSRAOR has raised over $9000 for local charities so far.

Fundraising is a year round activity for the Palm Springs group with quarterly events produced by the REALTOR members and their affiliate business members. The four non-profit agencies are selected at the beginning of each year with a mid-year and end of year distribution. The 2012 beneficiaries are The Mizell Senior Center and Well in the Desert both in Palm Springs, The Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City and Save a Pet in Desert Hot Springs.
