The Living Fit Network, set to launch on August 1st, is a community based network of health practitioners and eco-conscious businesses working together to help individuals in their quest for stronger, healthier lives. The network was founded to build a community of support for those practicing holistic and natural lifestyles, and to guide those just beginning their journey.
Educating individuals and families on how to take control over their healthcare and well-being is a topic becoming increasingly more important as the current state of the United States healthcare system grows more distressed. Facilitating education in creative and interesting ways is the primary focus for the developing Network. The partnership with local farmers markets will begin on the First Saturday of every month beginning August 4th at the SoCo Farmers Market in Costa Mesa and the last Sunday of every month at the Newport Beach Farmers Market at Lido Village. The event will consist of children’s obstacle courses, whole food scavenger hunts, free health and fitness assessments and table sponsorships focusing on natural health and wellness products.
As Living Fit OC builds with a strong commitment to wellness education, they plan to raise funds for local non-profit organizations with specific initiatives for creating awareness of the National Health Observances. The overall purpose for creating this much needed health and wellness community is to educate and provide access to life changing resources, all while making a significant impact on the way health is viewed within the Orange County communities.
