Pay Pal Enters the Golf industry with the Food and Beverage Ordering App SmartCart

Dallas, TX, July 24, 2012—SmartCart Service Systems announced today they are the first company to bring PayPal mobile purchases to the golf industry. This new partnership will give members of both SmartCart and PayPal additional purchasing power.

SmartCart is the first application to tap into 90% of golfers that use a smartphone.  After a golfer downloads and signs into SmartCart, (for free) the GPS automatically locates any course within a 25-mile radius.  When the golfer checks into a SmartCart club, they have immediate access to custom menus and scorecards.  From this point on, golfers can easily place orders throughout the facility.  The orders populate into SmartCart's web based back-end, keeping the staff up to date.  The orders are promptly filled and completed.  The result is that the golfer is satisfied and the course has an immediate increase in revenue.  Additionally, the application supports social members for country clubs (tennis courts, poolside etc.) by providing the ability to place to-go or curbside pick-up orders. This allows neighborhood establishments, especially those away from mainstream traffic, to provide quality food for the community with no extra overhead (i.e. no extra staff) while increasing revenues.

With the added convenience of PayPal, SmartCart users no longer have to worry about having cash or credit card on hand at the course.  PayPal acts like a digital wallet securely storing all of the user's payment options, such as bank account and credit card.  The payment process is completed without sharing information with the merchant or seller.  Additionally, because PayPal can handle international languages and currencies, SmartCart users all over the globe can utilize this new, simple one time sign-up and order solution.
