DoD is held every three years as an opportunity for military education professionals from all branches of Service to discuss future trends and challenges facing advanced education within the military community.

“Providing servicemembers, veterans and military spouses a quality, affordable and portable education is an essential part of Ashworth’s business,” said Rob Klapper, Ashworth College President and CEO. “We make it a point to understand the importance of a degree program that fits the military lifestyle -- one that is compatible with today’s education benefits as well as one that won’t be interrupted when soldiers deploy at a moment’s notice.”

Ashworth College, a leader in distance education, has established a team of dedicated military advisors who are trained to provide one-on-one assistance to enlisted personnel and their families. These advisors continually remain current on relevant career trends, application processes, and tuition assistance options.

“Our current military students appreciate that we are able to help them work through the application and funding processes and anything else that comes along between enrollment and graduation,” said Rodney Butler, U.S. Army First Sergeant, Retired and Military Education Coordinator for Ashworth College.

“Every year we have several service members and military spouses walking in our graduation ceremony and this year will be no exception,” added Butler, who explained that this year’s ceremony will be held on August 4. “Because we’ve been with them every step of the way, it’s exciting to be there when they receive their diploma.”

Ashworth College specializes in a wide range of career-focused degree programs. Some of the more popular programs among servicemembers and military spouses include early childhood education, criminal justice, human resources management, information technology.
