Cassandra “Casey” Ingram, is not the shy, bashful type—she doesn’t have that option. In her mind, it’s a man’s world and she is just the woman to succeed in it.
Often described by her fellow police officers as a ‘stubborn, go-getter,’ Casey advances rapidly up the ladder and is soon promoted to lead detective.
Before long, she is assigned to investigate the horrific murders of several local exotic dancers. With a killer on the loose and more lives now at stake, Casey dives headlong into the investigation and quickly finds herself making some careless—even dangerous—decisions.
Revenge is a dish best-served cold and this serial killer, driven to quiet the voices in his head, is determined to pick up where he had previously left off and permanently silence what he refers to as his Peace Keepers.
Casey must now solve these baffling homicides while overcoming both personal and relational issues that threaten to unwind her promising life and career.
“Adrian Foster exhibits a writing style similar to the likes of masters such as W.E.B. Griffin and James Patterson,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Foster’s characters are finely tuned and his detailed settings are exceptionally well-constructed.”
Adrian Foster was raised in Tampa Bay, Florida, where he would graduate high school and go on to join the local police department. As a teenager, he found himself going down the wrong path and decided to turn things around. Foster’s parents were shocked, but supported what would soon turn out to be the best decision he had ever made. After a thirty-year law enforcement career, Foster is now retired and resides in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. This book is dedicated to law enforcement officers nationwide.
