ICOM goes a Nu-way to represent commercial heating

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Nu-way’s Managing Director, Graham Williamson has been elected as Vice Chairman of the ICOM Energy Association.

ICOM represents the commercial heating industry. It works closely with Government to ensure only the most practical and energy efficient heating solutions are used in the UK. Now in its 80th year, the trade association has been around for nearly as long as Nu-way.

The Government do not have as detailed a grasp on the finer points of the commercial heating industry as ICOM. So when they are making policy they often need a steer. “That’s where we come in,” says ICOM Director, Robert Burke, “We’re very pleased to have Graham on board.”
   
As well as providing a complete burner solution, Nu-way provides training, servicing and commissioning within the commercial heating sector. Speaking about his new post, Graham said: “It’s a great honour for both myself and Nu-way. I am looking forward to working hard to support the chairman and the board to make sure that the Government make decisions on policy that are right for the commercial heating industry in the UK.”
