Sevis 6000 Series to Expand Precision Timing with Support of Russian GLONASS

(www.sevis.com), a global leader in mobile backhaul optimization solutions, today announced support for the Russian Navigation Satellite System GLONASS for clock synchronization. This enhancement is designed to enable the delivery of reliable backhaul optimization for mobile operators within Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and also provide an alternative to GPS for all operators worldwide.

As an additional benefit, the 6000 Series is designed to support additional upcoming navigational satellite constellations including Galileo in Europe and the Beidou navigation system in China through a simple software upgrade.
