Breast thermography uses a digital infrared imaging camera to read the heat patterns of skin, which then converts them into  thermal images. Comparing and measuring thermal heat patterns can identify signs of potential disease and inflammation. This type of breast exam can provide early detection of cancers before the cancer reaches a stage that becomes more serious to treat. Plus, thermal breast imaging is a safe alternative with no radiation and no compression.
