Asian Beer Cocktails at China Blossom

China Blossom Celebrates International Beer Day with Asian Beer Cocktails

PRLog - Jul. 23, 2012 - BOSTON -- WHAT:                 Beer has been produced in China for over 9,000 years and Ancient Chinese brews were important in ancestral worship and other rituals. Chinese beer has become increasingly popular in the last few decades, and is now available worldwide. In honor of International Beer Day on Sunday, August 5, 2012 we are celebrating the culture of beer in China with two Asian Beer Cocktails.

The first is a Ginger Beer Cocktail ($6.95), which incorporates Chinese beer, ginger beer and fresh ginger for an intense collision of flavors! Or, for more adventurous guests, we will offer an Asian take on a traditional Bloody Mary. The Shandong Mary ($7.25) consists of Chinese beer, vodka, tomato juice and garlic for a fresh cocktail with a spicy kick! China Blossom will also feature Asian beers on their menu, including Tsingtao ($4.75), a nutty, yet malty beer that pairs perfectly with the flavors of their authentic Asian cuisine, and Sapporo ($8.95), a crisp beer with a clean finish to refresh the palate.

The purpose of International Beer Day is to show appreciation and thanks to those who brew beer and to encourage people to explore different beers from around the world. Stop by China Blossom, or make the cocktails at home, and raise a glass to brewers and beer lovers in the United States, China and around the world.
