LJB Goes Green with GeoModule ™ Geothermal Solution

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- LJB Inc.’s new headquarters, located at 2500 Newmark Drive, Miamisburg, Ohio, was recently retrofit with an advanced geothermal system - the GeoModule. The GeoModule is a hybrid geothermal product that includes a prefabricated pump and controls package. This factory assembled package reduces the borefield size, construction time, and footprint, while heightening quality control.

While LJB does not move in to its new facility until Labor Day weekend, the system began operation on July 2, 2012. The GeoModule was implemented into the existing 38,408 square foot building.  By no longer utilizing a conventional HVAC system, LJB Inc. can anticipate an estimated positive cash variance of $720,221 over a 39 year period. Besides a simple cash payback of less than one year, additional benefits include energy and maintenance savings and a reduction of environmental impact.
