EarthFruits Frozen Yogurt Hosts Grand Opening Celebration

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- EarthFruits Frozen Yogurt, a national franchise that blends a unique concept in natural, healthy treats with an upscale Internet café atmosphere, is opening in University Park on Saturday, July 28, 2012. The new store opens at 10 a.m., with free yogurt for the first 25 customers and free gift bags for the first 50 people through the doors. Grand opening festivities run from noon to 3 p.m., with live music, entertainment and family-friendly activities, plus 50 percent off every purchase. Raffle prizes include a paddleboard, kayak, mountain bike and more.

The local EarthFruits Frozen Yogurt franchise is owned by Robert and Kathy Langdon, and operated along with family members who relocated from Michigan to help with the new business. As successful owners of an Internet marketing company in Tennessee, the Langdons vacationed in Sarasota for decades before deciding to “semi-retire” here.

“Once we got here, we realized we needed something to do,” explained Robert. “After a lot of research, it was clear that EarthFruits Frozen Yogurt offers a premium product and a unique concept in natural, healthful foods. We are the only frozen yogurt store to use over 80 fruits, nuts and grains for our toppings, including a large variety of antioxidant-rich superfruits. We cut our mangoes, pineapples, peaches and everything by hand, at a station in front of our customers so they can see we use only the best, freshest ingredients.”

EarthFruits Frozen Yogurt offers an amazing assortment of sweet and tart frozen yogurts, bursting with nutrient-rich enzymes in a smooth, creamy taste. Customers choose from more than 80 toppings, including superfruits as well as cookies, candies and nuts.
