TheSquareFoot, which launched in late June, makes commercial real estate leasing easier with its online platform that gives prospective tenants a free and easy way to manage the often arduous process of finding office, retail, and warehouse space to rent for their business.  Users can search and manage available property listings, connect directly with landlords or reputable tenant brokers, and ultimately with service and product providers including furniture vendors, IT consultants, and commercial movers to get their business ready for business.

START also launched in June and aims to provide a professional and yet fun space for designers, developers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, employees or thought leaders to collaborate together in the technology space.

Together, TheSquareFoot and START are aiming to raise awareness of the burgeoning Houston startup scene, provide services and resources for entrepreneurial efforts and events, and bring together two networks that can help the startup community in Houston flourish.
