In March of 2011, we launched our first wellness show as a venue to create awareness and educate the community in Cambridge of their options, followed by another in June and September of the same year. Each show brought new exhibitors and more attendees. We support Power of Hope Ontario, as our charity; donating all of the proceeds from registration fees. In November of 2011, we expanded the show to include the community of Guelph, Ontario.
This year of 2012, we held a Spring show in both Cambridge and Guelph, with increased exhibitors and visitors. We are now in the planning stages for our September show in Cambridge and another show in November for Guelph.
We are excited to be helping Langs Community Centre, a non profit charity providing services for families in the community; at our Cambridge September show. We will be hosting a Silent Auction raising funds towards their educational programs, and will continue to work with them as a part of our fundraising projects.
Power of Hope will be at our September show setting up a Drop Off for new pyjamas, toiletries, and slightly loved stuffed toys, as part of their Christmas Drive and we have designated the Guelph show to raise funds in support of the work Power of Hope continues to do for many agencies in Guelph including Michael's House, Children's Foundation and the Women's Crisis Centres.
We continue to create awareness throughout the communities of the vision and purpose for the Healthy Choices Wellness shows and the non profit organizations we support, who in turn assist families and individuals within the local community.
