Noneed2call allows people “Enjoy life with no worries”. It is designed for people who live and travel independently, such as expatriates and exchange students.
When noneed2call users are offline for a certain number of hours, the app will send a notification to a friend or relative. These notifications can be customized and will be sent on behalf of the user via e-mail or SMS from the noneed2call servers.
"As a skier I am aware and concerned about the dangers of going to the mountains, so I decided to make an effective alert system that would prevent my family from worrying about me. Now before every ski trip I create a noneed2call alert that will be sent only if I do not return home on time” - Alberto Daccarett, JEA ventures co-founder, amateur skier and expatriate.
Noneed2call has been available in beta phase since June and during this period users have found creative ways to use the app. Noneed2call is particularly popular among people living alone who setup 24 hours notifications aimed at their relatives.
Pricing and Availability:
E-mail notifications are FREE. SMS subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months are available in order to avoid SPAM filters, they reach 200 countries and make sure that the notification is read on time. An iPhone version is in progress, interested users can sign up at noneed2call.com
