PRLog - July 25, 2012 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Originally established as WV Magic Design, DevDigital has evolved into a company that can handle not only Web design but also software development, Web development and custom app development on multiple platforms. The 49-person company also administers the Nashville Facebook page, which focuses on news and happenings in the city and has attracted more than 100,000 fans.
Tropic Heat Studios (THS) caught up with DevDigital Owners, Peter Marcum & Mitch Ballard to ask them "why the name change after such a successful first 4 years as W.V. Magic Design ?"
"We believe the new name 'DevDigital' encapsulates the evolution of our products and services. Over the years we have had the privilege to expand our scope to additional projects such as web-based business software solutions, iOs & Android Phone & Tablet Apps, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Writing, and Social Media Consulting, in addition to Web Site Design. We also provide hosting and bandwidth of sites & emails through our secure downtown servers in Equinox. Throughout our company's expansion, our level of service to our customers has never been higher."
THS: We noticed you have some pretty serious A-List Music Clients, why haven't we heard of you before?
"For our first 4 years in business we grew by word of mouth with virtually no advertising or PR on behalf of our own company. One client lead to the next, until our brand became well known within the Nashville Music Industry, which is a surprisingly closely connected group of people. Now we have a pretty diverse demographic of clients & industries we have had the pleasure of co-creating technology & media for. It seems almost every week we have someone present an "impossible"
THS: We noticed on your new DevDigtal Facebook Fan page you posted a bit of a tease about the new facility you are moving into, without sharing the exact location - care to tell us more about that?
We've simply outgrown our current location and had the opportunity to bring our offices to a larger very cool historic building in downtown Nashville. We also love the fact that we will be able to walk across the street to The Standard or a few blocks down to show clients our co-location secure server facility. It doesn't get much better than that for us or our clients. We think you can guess our new location now right? This would be a good time to "Google" if you haven't figured it out yet.
