The company takes a personal approach to search engine optimization services, getting to know their clients businesses, understanding their budgets and understanding the nuances of marketing and optimizing diverse types of businesses. “Not every business is the same, so taking a cookie-cutter approach to optimizing and marketing a website, just isn’t appropriate”
Blake Strategies Group understands the needs of small and medium-sized business, having been on the other side of the desk. Jonathon previously owned a retail store and has worked in fundraising within the non-profit sector. The company’s services are geared toward businesses and organizations that need help getting their website to the first page of Google and engaging their target market on the internet, but don’t know where to start.
Working with new websites or websites that have been online for various lengths of time, Blake Strategies Group will first do an audit of your current search engine marketing and SEO practices to determine where each client is in the process. “Some websites have already done the foundational elements and need help taking things to the next level, while others have just been online for a few days and don’t know where to start. We love the diversity that comes with taking on each new project!” says owner, Jonathon Hyjek.
Once the audit is complete, a strategy is developed, goals are set and the strategy is implemented. Various SEO initiatives including keyword research, content marketing, blogging, social media marketing, on-site SEO optimization and link-building are undertaken to increase a website’s search engine rankings. To put their clients at ease, Jonathon notes that the company only uses SEO practices that are considered “white-hat”
Each SEO project that is undertaken by Blake Strategies Group includes face-to-face consultations when clients are located within a 2 hour drive from London, Ontario. Jonathon says that “No amount of technology can make up for meeting with clients face-to-face and developing a good working relationship from the start of a project. Phone and email is wonderful, but a first face-to-face meeting over a cup of coffee is my preferred method of communication. It helps gett to know a client and really understand their business needs.”
