Emma James Psychological Performance Expert takes new 207.5kgs world bench press record

July 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Emma James, multiple world powerifting champion, bench press specialist and Psychological Performance Therapist took womens bench press to new high on the 7th July 2012 with new world record of 207.5kgs at 87kg bodyweight.
The 42 year old international lecturer and television acclaimed therapist overcame the odds of virtually a full shoulder replacement in 2009 after taking another world title and came back to bench the biggest ever recorded lift of any European woman in history and competition.
She attributes most of her success to the years of development and work not only with her athletes but also applying them to herself and now will challenge the Russian world leader in a higher weight category as she deliberately goes up another weight class to attempt to strip her of her world title. This will mean she will have taken world titles across 2 different weight categories.
The therapist, who specialises in working with professional boxers and explosive sports will go to Las Vegas on the 5th November 2012 to try and bring home another win to Great Britain.
