Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good is a national philanthropic program that will award 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over the course of 100 consecutive days (May 14 through August 21,2012). Online voters will choose which of five nonprofits will take home a new set of wheels. The organization who receives the most votes on Facebook at www.100carsforgood.com at the end of the day takes home a brand new Toyota.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to win a new Toyota vehicle,” says Paul Rudolph, CincySmiles Director of Operations. “The economy has really had an impact on our funding. A new Toyota vehicle would mean so much to our organization and the families we serve. It will allow us to improve the lives of more children in need throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. For many of them, it’s the first time they have seen or been treated by a dentist. We hope everyone in our area will vote for us on August 18th”
For over 100 years, CincySmiles (CS) has provided oral health education and access to professional preventative care and dental treatment services for “at-risk” children and families throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. It is one of the original charter agencies of the Greater Cincinnati United Way Community Chest. Last year, CS served over 20,000 local residents. CS programs include a nationally acclaimed school-based dental sealant program, donated professional services, community dental clinics, and a mobile dental RV providing comprehensive treatment to Cincinnati Public Schools and Hamilton County Head Start Programs.
