The 2012 Mark Brezler Memorial Auction is set for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, August 2 at Molly Branningan’s, which is located at Second & Walnut Streets in Harrisburg.
It all leads up to the 13th Annual Mark Brezler Memorial Golf Classic, which is set for Friday, August 3rd at the Mayapple Golf Club in Carlisle, PA. Proceeds from the auction and the golf tournament will benefit the Mark Brezler Scholarship Fund at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. The combined events have raised more than $50,000 over the past decade in support of scholarships at the University.
The tournament will feature a shotgun start and play begins immediately following registration. The format is a four-person scramble and there will be two flights: a championship flight and a novice flight There will be prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, top placing team(s) in each division and door prizes.
Registration is $280 per team or $70 for individual players and includes range balls, lunch and dinner, beverages, door prizes, and food throughout the day. Registration begins at noon and ends at 1 p.m, with tee off immediately afterwards.
