What is Wassub Fusion?
Fusion is a new trend in food that has hit restaurants and food trucks alike. Essentially, fusion is the pairing of two or more cultural food groups into one. Wassub has decided to take the fiery and eclectic Asian flare of recipes like teriyaki chicken and beef bulgogi and pair them with the traditional Italian submarine sandwich. Combining these two groups creates a festive, funky and of course, delicious food fare for anyone hitting the streets of Washington, D.C.
Wassub is not the typical food truck sub sandwich provider. Instead of serving dainty bites that can be eaten with just one hand, Wassub wants its patrons to get involved and get eating – which means not worrying about a snack before dinner. Wassub serves up hearty portions, but without a hefty price tag.
