July 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Jeffrey Milberg, VP NorthWest Direct Marketing, has been selected as a mentor for the Keller Graduate Business School of Management’s famous Capstone course.

Michael Faulkner, Ph.D., program professor stated, “We are excited to welcome Jeff to our program. His experience and expertise will be a valuable asset to the students and their projects”.

“This is a great opportunity to give back and be energized by the enthusiasm and passion the students have for their projects”, said Milberg.

Jeffrey Milberg is an experienced business executive who will provide mentoring from a mix of executive, operations, marketing and sales expertise. Milberg co-founded two successful entrepreneurial ventures in the direct marketing industry. He also spent over twenty years with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation where he last served as COO and General Manager of a new startup division. Prior to NorthWest Direct Marketing, Milberg was a managing director at FJ Associates, LLC, a marketing consultancy. Milberg holds a B.S. degree from Wake Forest University and was awarded a Teaching Fellowship while earning his Master’s Degree from East Carolina University.

Colleges and Universities recognize that a quality Business School education must be combined with exposure to how business works beyond the classroom. A Mentor Program provides an opportunity for students to be paired with successful business leaders from the business community in order to provide that essential link between the classroom and business reality. Students and mentors both benefit from participation.
During projects where the students develop business plans or projects, there are many times when each of these students will need to talk to someone who has been there before, who has seen the ups and downs of business plans, who knows how businesses really operate. The mentor guides the students by questioning their ideas and challenging them to find creative solutions to make their projects or plans the most comprehensive as possible.
