This is the first year that the Army Ten-Miler has Military Community Partners to allow participants to raise money for charity. Hope For The Warriors® is one of those partners and through Team Hope For The Warriors®, both wounded service members and community athletes will have the opportunity to run in this popular race.
To join the Team and obtain a bib for the Army Ten-Miler, Team members commit to raising a minimum of $500 for Hope For The Warriors®. To support fundraising efforts, the nonprofit provides online tools to distribute e-mails to potential donors. The website, social media sites, and the blog can also be utilized to educate potential donors of how Hope For The Warriors® supports military families.
“When you join Team Hope For The Warriors®, you will run alongside the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms,” Jenlene Nowak, Team Hope For The Warriors® Director said. “The race becomes more meaningful.”
