Lear Capital Group’s Staff Volunteer at Pets Corner as part of 'Be Animal Aware'

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 18, 2012 - Lear Capital Group an innovative global investment house with a focus on the emerging markets of the Asia Pacific based in Tokyo, Japan; arranged the volunteering day for Sunday July 15, 2012 and many of Lear Capital Groups staff signed up to help the farm's regular staff and volunteers. In addition to the volunteering day, the company, which deals with global corporations, also arranged for three donation boxes to be placed around the office, in which staff members could, put donations for the charity. The boxes, which the volunteers took with them to the farm, were generously filled by Lear Capital Group’s, with everything from pet food, to toys, treats, blankets and beds, all to be given to the Pets Corner’s animals

Lear Capital Group staff the volunteered included Sarah Mitsumi, Hida Gensai, Jennifer Hirota, Nicola Fujimaki and George Mimasuyu – who all helped with gardening and painting, all to help maintain the animals' living areas. Pets corner in Tokyo nurses distressed animals back to health, with the aim of re-homing them when the time is right. The farm is run solely on donations and all money goes directly on care for the animals. Lear Capital group have a number of fund raising days the farm this year, including a fun day on July 29th, where there will be stalls selling products such as plants and bric-a-brac. There will also be games to play and raffles to enter, with all money going towards keeping Pets Corner running.

Our staff regularly donates to charities, but it was great to see them take this a step further this month with the volunteer work at Pets Corner.” "Not only did the volunteers make a valuable contribution to this charity, but they also demonstrated great team work in the process," she added.
