Follow on Google News | Rock n Roll Express To Reunite In Winston Salem, NCOne of wrestling's greatest tag teams has agreed to reunite for one night only in Winston Salem, NC in November of 2012 at WrestleCade.
By: America's Most Liked “Many people cosnider Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, the ORIGINAL Rock n Roll Express, to be the greatest tag team of all time. With them having won the tag team championship more than 33 times in their illustrious career, I'm certainly not one to argue. Their feuds with The Four Horsemen and The Russiams are epic and the WrestleCade Team is excited about them reuniting at WrestleCade in November,” said Myers. Competing against the Rock n Roll Express will be someone who they are very familiar with..."The Russian Bear" Ivan Kollof along with the Mystery Russian Assassins competing in a "Russin Nightmare" Chain Match. Who will be under the masks? Myers suggests coming to WrestleCade and you may find out. "There's a long list of Russian friends that Ivan Kollof could be bringing to help defeat the Rock n Roll Express at WrestleCade. Nikita Kollof, Krusher Kruschev and Vladimir Petrov are just a few of the names that have been thrown around in the office but it's anyone's guess," said Myers. Also on the card that night is Matt Hardy/TNA Gunner 30-minute iron man match. “Since this is the first WrestleCade, we wanted this event to feature a very special match. That’s why they stepped up and agreed to something better than I could have ever imagined. Matt Hardy and Gunner will bring the house down.” Another exciting addition to WrestleCade is "Hurricane" Helms and Colt Cabana versus CW Anderson and Lodi. Other matches featuring legends and multiple past champions from the WWE, WCW, TNA, ROH, ECW and NWA will be announced over the next few weeks. The goal of the WrestleCade organizers is to have a successful event that will help that number be reached. For more information about Christmas Toy Drive, visit http://christmastoydrive.com The announcement that WrestleCade is coming to Winston Salem also represents a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved and be seen by 2,000+ people who are sure to be travelling to downtown Winston Salem from all around the country and especially the Southeast. One of those businesses already pledging support is one of Myers’ other business ventures, Frank Myers Auto Maxx. Myers said, “With this being a family friendly show, the profits going directly to an awesome organization like Christmas Toy Drive in addition to giving my dealership an opportunity to speak directly to potential customers..this is truly a win-win for all parties involved. I would like to encourage other local businesses to get involved. It’s inexpensive and is for a great cause.” Myers asked interested businesses to call him direct at 336-831-0646 for sponsorship and/or information about supporting WrestleCade and Christmas Toy Drive.
