MotorTrades.co.uk on track to report record quarter

Motortrades.co.uk, the online directory service for the UK motoring industry, has experienced a significant upsurge in use of their service resulting in a predicted record breaking quarter.  The site is anticipating the highest usage since the service was launched in 2008.
Steve Jakes, founder and Director of Essex the based business has announced record growth in the user base as visits to the internet directory surges month on month. Figures for May 2012 smashed previous recorded heights with June only marginally behind. At the current rate July will again deliver a record, resulting in over 300,000 unique visitors over the reported quarter.
The trend would appear to show an upturn in the motoring sector and supports the prediction of growth for the UK car industry by industry body the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) who are predicting that car registrations will be increased by 3.1% in 2013 compared to 2012’s predictions, which essentially means more people buying cars. The trickle-down effect will stimulate used car sales, servicing and benefit all related motor trades. At present, the UK automotive industry invests around £1bn+ per year in improving manufacturing techniques and production efficiency. Increased revenue means that the automotive industry can afford to invest more, securing the employment of thousands and taking a positive step towards UK economic stability.
