The new report by Govt- sponsored WRAP (Waste Resources Action Programme) has been welcomed by Click Collection. It shows that 30% of clothes in the average wardrobe have not been worn for a year, mostly because they don’t fit. These could be collected free from owners’ homes and donated to charity through Click Collection.
The report also shows that 66% of UK consumers buy or are given pre-owned clothes. The research indicates a willingness to buy more pre-owned if a wider range was available.
