RI Tourism Division Launches Ultimate Rhode Island Getaway Contest on July 18, 2012

July 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Providence, RI – July 17, 2012 – The Rhode Island Tourism Division is hosting a contest, through their Facebook page. The prize, a luxury vacation in Rhode Island, will be awarded to one of the Rhode Island Tourism Division’s Facebook “fans.”

The winner, along with one guest of their choosing, will start their Ultimate Rhode Island Getaway with a two-night stay at the historic Hotel Viking in Newport, RI. A member of the prestigious Historic Hotels of America, the Hotel Viking has offered modern, luxurious accommodations since 1926. With in-room flat screen LCD TVs, renovated baths with rain head showers, complimentary high-speed internet, fine dining restaurant, pool and whirlpool, and afternoon tea service all on the premises, the winner and their guest are sure to leave feeling relaxed and pampered. During their stay in Newport, the contest winner, armed with two VIP passes from Discover Newport, will receive complimentary admission to dozens of Newport area attractions.

The following two nights will be spent in yet another Rhode Island luxury hotel, this time in Providence, the state’s capital city. The Ultimate Rhode Island Getaway contest was designed by the Rhode Island Tourism Division to encourage travel to the state and to highlight some of the best attractions in Newport and Providence.
