“After being approached about having this special night, I was all for it. We want people to know that the players, and the Dodgers organization, take every precaution necessary to prevent athletes from being hurt,” states David Baggotts, Owner and President of the Ogden Raptors. “In sports, injuries happen a lot, it is our goal to not only help bring awareness about brain injuries, but also acceptance of wearing helmets for kids, starting when they are young. Helmets save lives.”

Ron Roskos, Director of the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah spends his days fundraising, creating opportunities for awareness and working with those whose lives have been affected by devastating brain injury. “This baseball game is our night! From the opening pitch, to the half time show, all the entertainment and festivities are geared to helping support those with brain injury.” Roskos goes on to say, “We also want to help ensure that young athletes learn to use their head, to make safety a priority, whether on the field, or with their friends. We are happy to have the support of the Ogden Raptors to help make that dream a reality.”
