Painting exhibition, OORJA showcases works by institute director, his guru as well his students
New Delhi, 17th July, 2012: Delhi Collage of Art, Raja Garden saw the inauguration of a unique fortnight long painting exhibition OORJA. Inaugurated on the weekend following Guru Purnima, this exhibition is meant to honour the guru-shishya parampara(tradition)
Attended by members of the art fraternity the students of Delhi Collage of Art, the faculty members of the institute and the two gurus themselves, the exhibition in a sense represents a crucible of learning, where the influence of the two generation of teachers are clearly visible as is visible each artist’s own individual expression.
