Aary Films 'MJMW' Movie Premiere held in NYC to a packed audience!

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 16, 2012 - New York City. May 22, 2012 – The RED CARPET Premiere of the short film, MJMW, was held at the Anthology Film Archives theater in New York City on May 22nd, 2012 to appreciative as well as critical audiences. The 187-seat theater with a medieval look, its ancient camera setup on one corner of the room and a circular staircase running up on another side was filled to capacity. The lead cast of the film walked the red carpet along with several local film personalities, invited guests and media . The premiere started with a glamorous & glitzy reception, with the shutterbugs going non-stop, as the excited guests posed for pictures with the equally excited lead cast. Hosted by Aary Films and managed by Cineviews Media & PR, the premiere screening of MJMW was a huge success and many guests had to be turned down due to the full house audience, in spite of a working day.

The 28-minute English short film received a positive response from the audience and the cast and crew received a thunderous applause at the end. As the end credits rolled by, the entire cast and crew walked to the front and introduced themselves to the cheering audience. A short Q&A session followed these introductions. Producer Parikh thanked
all the sponsors, supporters, media and well-wishers, as the guests proceeded for part
two of the excitement!

The guests joined in the celebrations at the Sutra Lounge, just a block away from the theater, where the party continued until late night. Aary Films went all out of the way to entertain its guests. There was food and drink galore and lots of music and dancing. A large cake was brought out with the MJMW poster picture on it, as the entire cast and crew held the knife to cut it to a loud applause from everyone present.

The movie is now set to do the rounds of several film festivals in the US and abroad in the months to come.

About the film: Directed by Ajayendra Loka, MJMW is a short film under the banner of Aary Films. The makers of the film are working towards taking this film to several film festivals worldwide. Meet James Matthew Wilson (MJMW) a psychological thriller, with an all American cast, is about a man struggling to connect the pieces of his life. He lives on the edge as a hopeless addict when his soul is touched by the charming Elissa, who admires his skillful photography and touches his heart in the process. In his pursuit to garner Elissa's love, JMW must search for his true self even as he is forced to confront his dark side. JMW lives dangerously, loves passionately and hopes desperately that he's not too late to get his act together and win Elissa’s heart.
