Jul. 16, 2012 - Now that Chewie’s Facebook page has 100 ‘Likes,’ the song-writing contest is in the works. Chewie is the Wistful Cafe and Bakery’s lovable feline mascot, who is often seen napping on the premises and searching for treats. He often claims to be the real owner of the restaurant and laments not being allowed inside. His Facebook page is located at

Song lyrics can be completely original or can be parodies of existing songs. All entries must be submitted by July 30th, either in person at the Wistful Cafe and Bakery or via email at wistfulcafe@
aol.com. Everyone who submits an entry will receive a free Chewie the Wistful Cat t-shirt. The top three contestants will receive Wistful Cafe and Bakery gift cards and one winner will be chosen for the grand prize. Details about the grand prize will be released at a later date.
