PRLog - July 16, 2012 - www.PosterPin.com has been developed to address the need of Pinterest users to easily create their own content for posting on their Pinterest boards. Pinterest has become a wildly popular website. People love pinning all kinds of pictures to their Pinterest boards. However, Pinterest only supports posting pictures - and those pictures must already exist, either on the web or on the users disk.
PosterPin addresses these Pinterest limitations with a tool that builds an attractive mini-poster in seconds using text and/or a photo captured from the web or from the users disk. If a photo is selected, PosterPin automatically re-sizes it to best fit the mini-poster. PosterPin can also create text-only mini-posters.
The PosterPin tool supports choosing the colors and border for the mini-poster, and then uploading the mini-poster to Facebook, or saving it to the users disk, as well as pinning the mini-poster to a Pinterest board.
While PosterPin allows a mini-poster to be constructed using any text and any photo, some particularly interesting applications of PosterPin are making inspirational posters and motivational or demotivational posters. There are a number of examples of various kinds of mini-posters on the www.PosterPin website.
PosterPin offers its own PosterPin Bookmarklet (similar to the Pinterest Pin-It Button) that can be dragged to the users bookmarks-bar. The bookmarklet provides an even easier way to capture text and photos from any webpage for inclusion in a PosterPin mini-poster.
There is no charge for the use of the PosterPin Tool, and it is expected that the basic mini-poster building tool will always be free.
PosterPin was developed by Jonathan Lockwood Huie. After retiring from a highly successful career with high-tech startups in Silicon Valley, Mr. Huie became an author of inspirational self-improvement books and the creator of a number of inspirational and motivational websites and a popular Daily Inspirational Quote email.
