July 16, 2012 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – Michael Lynch, an accomplished banking and commercial litigation attorney, has joined Kolesar & Leatham, one of Nevada's largest independent business law firms.

At Kolesar & Leatham, Lynch will focus his practice on commercial litigation with a specific emphasis on commercial lending, receiverships, contract disputes, claim and delivery (replevin), and landlord-tenant disputes.

Lynch brings to the law firm a great depth of experience in obtaining, maintaining, and successfully resolving receiverships for both multi-family housing and commercial retail/office properties, in addition to bankruptcy and bankruptcy-related litigation.  He also has extensive first-chair mediation, arbitration, and trial experience.

“It is our honor to welcome Michael to the firm,” said Robert Kolesar, managing partner. “Our commercial litigation practice continues to grow, and our attorneys represent many of Nevada’s leading businesses. Michael’s expertise will benefit our clients and add to our talented legal team which provides the highest quality of legal services and counsel to businesses, including those with the most complex legal issues.”

Lynch earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with distinction in 2003, and graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Management Information Systems (MIS).

He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the American Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association.

Lynch has been recognized for his professional excellence by Super Lawyers magazine as a Mountain States Rising Star each of the past 4 years, which features top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

In addition to his legal experience, Lynch actively serves the local community by representing pro bono clients in association with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.  Lynch is scheduled, for example, to represent a pro bono client at trial in an adversary proceeding before the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada, later this month.
