David had spent 18 years working for Pillsbury and General Mills in their Bakery Food Service division before being downsized. A close family member is celiac, so they understood the struggles of finding decent tasting and affordable gluten free products. When Domata became available for purchase, it all came together.
Domata has plans to expand their retail distribution. “We are currently available on-line and in approximately 355 stores nationwide, 25 of which are in MN (primarily in non-metro areas). We are in the process of updating our retail packaging. Our goal is to be in 3,0000 stores in 2 years”, Madison said.
All Domata products are all natural, Kosher certified, and made in a dedicated gluten free and nut free facility. Domata has been recognized by the Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) and the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA).
