SSC Recruitment 2012 for data entry operator and clerk

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 16, 2012 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invites online jobs applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment to the Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerks (LDC) SSC Jobs 2012. SSC will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level test for selecting candidates for these Data Entry Operator and LD Clerks jobs 2012. Educational Qualifications: Those aspirants who have qualified in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or possess any equivalent qualification from a recognized board are eligible to apply for Data Entry Operator and LDC Jobs. Qualifications will be reckoned as on 01/08/2012.
Note: Degree obtained through Open University/Distant Education must be recognized by Distant Education Council, IGNOU.


Age Limit: Age of the candidates who are going to apply for Data Entry Operator & Lower Division should be between 18 years and 27 years as on 01/08/2012. i.e. born not before 02/08/1985 and not after 01/08/1984.


How to Apply
You can download application form online and send it to SSC along with Rs 100 application fee. However, fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

Last date for receiving application form  is 10-8-2012. There is relaxation for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad till 17.08.2012 (upto 5:00 PM).

Opening Date of Online Registration : 14.07.2012
Last date of submissions of application forms for Part I : 08.08.2012
Last date of submissions of applications for Part II : 10.08.2012 and 17.08.2012 for candidates from Far Flung areas candidates.
SSC written test for DEO and LDC Jobs 2012 : 21.10.2012 and 28.10.2012
