Skultety Fitness and Fusion Elite Training Center joined forces in January 2012 to launch personal training and fitness boot camps in a true one-stop shop facility that caters to every member of the family - personal training, boot camp, dance, music, acting, mma, martial arts, athletic conditioning - and now Skultety Fitness is looking to branch out to the business professional who "doesn't have time" to fit fitness into their hectic lifestyle. The workouts vary and include a variety of training methodologies and modalities; cardio, cross training, HIIT, strength training, muscular endurance training, and core stability in order to appeal and expose employees to possibly foreign concepts of training.
As fitness professionals with over 20 years of combined experience, owners Amy & David Skultety show that despite working full time, raising 3 kids, and juggling kids' practices or school functions, fitting in time for exercise doesn't have to be a 1-2 hour ordeal.
"We realize that most people have the innate desire to get healthier, but sometimes the lack of extra time or accountability prevents them from making exercise a priority. A lot of what we do is teach a solid foundation for living a healthy lifestyle - food choice guidance, diet debunking, proper movement, goal appropriate exercises - so that they can apply it and still balance daily life. Our goal is to have clients feel more energized, healthier, and focused - it benefits the employer and the employee".
We want to really impact those in our community and help them realize that 30-45 minute workouts can be effective and deliver great results. Reaching out to busy business professionals was obviously the next step for us since the biggest excuse personal trainers usually hear from clients is that they don't have time to exercise. We want to be able to offer a solution to the problem and help people realize that it is possible to be successful, have a family, crazy schedule, and look great too " said Amy Skultety.
As part of the launch, Amy has started a fitness blog entitled SimplyFittingLife.blogspot.com in order to share helpful tips and resources for readers interested in learning more about health and preventative care for themselves and their families. In addition to offering fitness programs on-site to local businesses, they will share secrets on how to stay motivated, overcome obstacles, provide healthy recipes, and offer training and weight loss advice through their website, skultetyfitness.com.
