Vancouver, BC, Canada.
In its next step toward making MusXpand a successful initiative, its founder decided to launch a crowdfunding project on RocketHub to gather the necessary funds to start hiring staff for the company and in the same time raise awareness about MusXpand.
Althought the financial crowdfunding objective is quite challenging, requiring to gather $100,000 during the next 3 months, the founder is confident that people will love the idea as much as the corresponding rewards and he expects a great success from that fundraising activity.
-- Objective ---
The RocketHub crowdfunding project will help bringing more visibility about MusXpand among the public, by getting a significant number of new subscribers, and will enable the company to start hiring people to assist in the site's development and the use of the best internet technology available, but also to build a marketing force that will spread the idea even further and recruit selected artists for the site.
--- Rewards ---
All participants, or "fuelers" as RocketHub calls them, will be rewarded with great benefits, according to the money they're willing to invest in the project, from the inclusion of their names into a MusXpand Sponsors list with a personal link to their own website or Facebook page, to various greatly discounted subscriptions to the site and to artists, a customized account, one day at the company's headquarters in Vancouver (travel not included) to make suggest features and improvements, a dinner with the founder and his wife, a personal visit from the founder, the next versions named after the fuelers' initials or nicknames, the fueler's face appearing on the company's logo for one year, or the association of the fueler's name and picture to any promotion from the company.

--- About MusXpand ---
MusXpand is an initiative started by Philippe Hilger in Rio de Janeiro in September 2010, to enable independent musicians to be able to distribute their music with the least possible intermediaries and a higher commission (80%) than the one usually met in the Music Business. After 6 months of website development, the company was formed in Vancouver, Canada, and some beta-testing started with a limited number of users. The site was officially launched in December of 2011, and already offers various CDs from successful independent artists and bands.
