Follow on Google News | Free "Night of Magic" in Ogden Monday July 23rdThe Northern Utah Magic Association presents a free "Night of Magic" at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23rd at the Ogden Amphitheater (343 E 25th St, Ogden) featuring more than a half dozen performers and followed by the Academy award winning film "Hugo".
By: The Hatch Academy of Magic and Music Performer Biographies: Al Lampkin has been selected as Best Comedy Act of the Year by his peers and has performed in 25 countries around the world in casinos, theaters, schools, on cruise ships, at fairs and at countless corporate events as well as the world famous Hollywood Magic Castle. Al has appeared on over 100 television shows from the Tonight Show to the Rodney Dangerfield comedy special. He has opened for such luminaries at Crystal Gale, Johnny Cash, Lynn Anderson, Joan Rivers, and numerous others. Originally from Los Angeles, Al currently makes his home in West Valley, Utah and serves as President of the Salt Lake City Ring of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. In addition to stage illusions, Eric is a hypnotherapist and performer of renaissance magic with his family troupe, Gypsy Magick. Now just 16, he has studied with Jeff McBride in Las Vegas and performed with David Copperfield and Criss Angel. Bruce Bunnell is a co-founder and past president of the Northern Utah Magicians Association. He specializes in comedy magic and escapes. Richard Hatch holds two graduate degrees in Physics from Yale University, but finds it easier apparently to violate the laws of nature than to discover them. Richard and his wife Rosemary moved to Cache Valley in October 2010 and opened the Hatch Academy of Magic and Music in Logan's historic 1878 Thatcher-Young Mansion in January 2011 where they offer classes and performances of sleight of hand and violin. Board Certified Master Hypnotist and NLP Trainer, is a board member of the Historic 25th Street Association and is known as Ogden’s own Mentalist. He stimulates the minds of all who visit his restaurant, the Two Bit Street Café, with his mind bending abilities. A veteran of the entertainment industry, James was personal manager to Andy Gibb and played a key role in the development and production of Saturday Night Fever, Grease and many other major motion pictures.
