Zumbathon® Charity Event in aid of St Luke's Hospice, Plymouth.

July 14, 2012 - PRLog -- After a very successful charity event in 2011, raising in excess of £1500 for Cancer Research UK, Gemma wanted to build on last years' successes, with what is hoped to be an even bigger and better event this year.

Zumba® Fitness with Gem will be hosting their 2012 event at Lipson Community College in Plymouth on Sat 21st July, 11am-1pm. The entry fee is just £1 on the door, however, individual participants are encouraged to collect sponsorship, or support the cause online via the previously mentioned 'justgiving' page.

All proceeds will be donated to the deserving cause of St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth, a charity very close to many people's hearts, but in particular to regular member and class helper Amanda Watts and her family.

This event will serve as a memorial and celebration of life for Sandra Thynne, for whom St Luke's provided vital care and support.

We hope that you will be able to support our cause online or join us on the day, for a fun-filled two hours of Zumba® Fitness with Gem.
