Hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc., the event will include almost 40 types of German beer, entertainment for the whole family, and a variety of cultural food.
Tickets are available online for $35 ($40 at the door), and include all the beer you can safely consume.
A variety of food will be on site, including beer ice cream by Frozen Pints, Petite Auberge and the Bavarian Pretzel Factory will serve authentic German food and other goodies. Entertainment for the whole family will be provided, including a Kids Zone sponsored by the Atlanta Hawks and the Braves.
The German Bierfest is an event the whole family can enjoy. Children under the age of 16 may attend the Bierfest for free. Designated drivers and attendees ages 16+ will not have to pay an entrance fee if they register online prior to the event ($10 will be charged at the door). No one under 21 will be allowed to drink and no pets will be admitted, no exceptions. Usage of public transportation is encouraged and if anyone finds themselves in an unsafe condition to drive home, a driver-for-hire service will be available.
