Bacterial vaginosis or BV in short words is caused by the imbalance of vaginal flora that is found in healthy vagina. Because of the imbalance, variety of bacteria such as gardinella vaginalis, mobiluncus, trichomonas vaginalis or mycoplasma can multiply uncontrollably.

By keeping good hygiene
Good personal hygiene is important for fast recovery and to prevent BV from reoccurring. Always keep your genital area clean and make sure to dry it with fresh and clean towel after showering or washing. When you are not completely healed, avoid having sexual intercourse.
