She will talk about "Follow the Sun" at a book event on Sunday, Aug. 5, at DeLux Bar and Grill, Chicago, IL, from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is free, with a book signing to follow the presentation.
Nordhaus-Bike also is the editor-in-chief of a monthly online astrology and art newsletter, "Living In Harmony."
Beginning her career as a business and technical writer, Nordhaus-Bike worked at Ameritech and other companies. Later, she joined a major healthcare consulting firm, where she earned recognition as a national leader in communication and training and was one of the authors of "Fundamentals of Flexible Compensation"
She founded ANB Communications in 1993 as a business communication consulting firm. In 2006, she launched Living in Harmony, a monthly astrology column that ran for several years in the "Gazette" newspaper of Chicago.

After a 20-year hiatus from painting, she began working as a professional artist in watercolors and oils in 1996 and has shown her works in numerous solo and group shows.
Nordhaus-Bike is an alumna of the University of Chicago and lives in the Clearing/Garfield Ridge community of Chicago.
