Beautiful Actress and Model Patricia Velasquez to Appear on PROFILES

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews Venezuelan Actress and Model Patricia Velasquez, fresh off competing in this season’s “Celebrity Apprentice” where she made it through week 6.

Although her career has been quite versatile Patricia might be best known for her role as Anek-Su-Namun in the global blockbuster “The Mummy” and it’s sequel “The Mummy Returns”.

In the late 80’s Velasquez participated in the Miss Venezuela Pageant – where she took 2nd place. This launched a modeling carreer that had her appearing in ads for Chanel,  Verino Fragrance and Victoria’s Secret.

Later she would become internationally recognized for her appearance in several issues of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. In 2002 she was ranked number 45 on the “Maxim Hot 100 Woman OF The Year”.

Additionally, in 2002 Patricia founded the “WAYUU Taya Foundation”  and has worked tiredlessly towards improving the lives of Latin-American indigenous people through enhanced education and health services.
