Pinball non-profit aims to improve the lives of hospitalized children

POP - Pinball Outreach Project will make its debut by demonstrating the latest "Remote Flipper" box on a Transformers LE pinball machine at California Extreme in Santa Clara, CA July 28-29, 2012.

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- POP - Pinball Outreach Project will make its official introduction to the pinball community at California Extreme (http://www.caextreme.org/) in Santa Clara, CA July 28-29, 2012, using a Transformers LE with a remote flipper modification "box". This adapted pinball machine has flippers on top and sides of the box so they can be controlled from a wheelchair, or even a hospital bed (with a monitor hookup).

Stop by and play! 100% of credits purchased will be going to fund the start-up costs. If you don't want to play (you can play without the remote flippers also) you can always support the project with a donation of any size, sign up to volunteer once we get into the hospitals or just come say "hi" and help spread the word.

Why would I pay to play a game at show where everything is on free play you ask? Because this is a non-profit that needs the support of the community. You can also "LIKE" us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

POP - Pinball Outreach Project has been formed with the following mission:

To improve the lives of hospitalized children during the downtime of treatment by bringing the game, history and excitement of pinball to Children's Hospitals.
POP is a non-profit corporation with 501c3 status pending.
