A young eleven year old poet, Bohnita Roychoudhury started writing fiction at age 9 but never got around to completing any of the stories except the school assignments. At this time, she also started writing and composing songs. The bookworm that she is, she has been caught reading storybooks even during lessons and lunch at school a few times. She penned her first poem that was to be a gift to a pen friend in Germany. The poem ‘Delightful Monsoons’ was published in ‘Telekids’ (Telegraph, Kolkata) in August 2010 and was extremely well received by readers. She has also scripted a few skits and plays for school productions and choreographed two of Tagore’s dance dramas in her locality. Bonhita enjoys English literature, Drama, Dance, and athletics, She further aspires to become a fiction writer.
