Jul. 12, 2012 - On August 4th, 2012 The West Boylston Arts Foundation, Inc. (WBAF), a non-profit charitable organization, will host its second annual YOUTHS ROCK! Battle of the Bands, with under-21 bands competing for cash prizes in an all-day festival. Following the YOUTHS ROCK! competition, former American Idol contestant Ayla Brown will take the stage. Ayla Brown, originally from Massachusetts, has recently debuted her eponymous country rock album, recorded in Nashville. She will also be performing this summer with country star Josh Turner.
YOUTHS ROCK! Battle of the Bands will start at 1pm. Admission is free for children under 12, $5 for students ages 13-21, and $10 for adults over 21. Advance tickets are available four for the price of three at West Boylston Insurance Agency and Zaza Ink. In the event of rain on August 4, YOUTHS ROCK! will be held the following day on Sunday, August 5, at Goodale Park.
All concert proceeds will be dedicated to funding West Boylston schools’ art and music education. Additional information may be found at www.wbaf.org
