How to speak so your audience listens, inspire, inform, excite – hire a speechwriter

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Professional speeches and presentations are meant to make a difference, whether the intention is to sell, inform or inspire. Unfortunately they often fail. All too often the speaker fails to engage with the audience because they talk about themselves too much, the speech is a generic rehash not aimed at the particular audience or the content is too technical or loaded with unnecessary background detail which make is dull.  A great speech or presentation should come across as original, intelligent and polished even if the underlying message is not new.

http://www.greatspeechwriting.co.uk is a London based speechwriting company which writes speeches for some of the worlds’ leading corporations, politicians and businesses. They understand that a great speech is not about demonstrating how much a speaker knows but rather that the speaker delivers a clear, aspirational and benefit-led message targeted at the audience, whether it is a sales, medical or political conference, business pitch or presentation or at an international event talking to a multi-lingual audience.

A key element of the service provided by Great Speechwriting is that they focus on translation, not from one language to another, but from the introspective to the relevant so that the speakers communicate effectively, clearly and dynamically in a way that makes the audience engage with the speaker with content that resonates.

Lawrence Bernstein and his team Great Speechwriting has a wide client base with years of experience writing for some of the world’s leading corporations, politicians, governments and high profile business people CEOs of top FTSE 250 companies, politicians, think tanks, overseas corporations and others including NGOs, charities and international organisations.
Lawrence and his team has a well-informed world view and they also work with politicians, foreign governments and international think tanks.

“Our team has a wealth of experience and has written for a broad range of high profile professionals throughout industry, finance, politics and in the medical and sporting communities. As a result of our breadth of experience we have an innate understanding of how to tailor content and pitch a message to maximise impact whoever the audience and whatever the goal of the speech”, says Lawrence.

Lawrence and his team also give training on presentation skills and coaching on delivery.  He works with professionals, organisations and private clients based all over the world to ensure that the delivery is as powerful as the content.

Notes to Editors

Lawrence also writes social speeches and started writing best man speeches for friends a few years ago. As more and more friends and friends of friends asked Lawrence, a Cambridge graduate to write speeches for them he realised there was a wider need for personalised, well written speeches.  He placed an ad in Private Eye and one enquiry lead to another. Once writing speeches started to become more than a hobby, he gave up a lucrative career in the City and set up Great Speechwriting in 2005, which has been grown rapidly ever since.
